There are a lot of piercings shops threw out New Orleans and Louisiana in general, so you won't run out of a selection. The hard part is deciding on a safe, sterile and above all, a well qualified and experienced staff of piercers. Rings of Desire on Decatur St. is by far the best piercing shop around and if not one of the best in the world. The shop is owned by renowned piercer Elayne Angel who is a genital piercing specialist. In addition to their huge selection of jewelry it is also nothing but the best and highest quality jewelry you can get, they also offer custom orders for your hard to find jewelry. They offer a variety of aftercare products including Provon, sea salt and Tech 2000. All piercers at Rings of Desire are certified APP members (safepiercing.org) I know I sound like one big add but I can't express how great this place is and how important it is to go to a good shop! I've been to many different shops and none of them compare to the quality and service that they provide to you at Rings. I've been going to Rings of Desire for years now and they are a consistent shop with the same faces and always willing to help out with questions either in person, by phone or email.
