Pitiful Service
Leila, the waitress failed to get us silverware. We had to get our own Peanuts & Napkins. She looked the other way to avoid making eye contact because she didn't want to help us. After 45 minutes we were finally
offered drink refills. My daughter asked for cocktail sauce for her seafood meal twice. It was brought out only as we were leaving. We own a business in Slidell and we hear about the bad service at O'Henry's but usually we don't have this bad of service. One one my children is a server at another local restaurant. He was astonished at the effort Leila made to avoid us. I believe she knew their was a built in tip on the b-day special and figured why even try??? - Tim , posted 06/30/07

Eh ..
Some of the items on their menu that I once got as apps and entrees had their recipes changed and the new incarnation just isn't good. Once was a favorite place, now I avoid it if at all possible. - ph4red , posted 03/01/05

This National chain isn't doing so well in NOLA
A once exciting place to eat at (i can do what with my free peanuts!) O'Henry's Uptown has started to sag in the middle...

Their menu looks awesome, but raely do the dishes match up. The prices eem to have gone up a bit.

Still a great place for Balcony dining; it's also a good place to go for standard fair with a kick. Most of the restauraunts along the river bend and surounding areas are specialty dining (lots of ethnic goodies!) But sometimes ya just want a burger ya know?

*warning* NEVER go to O'henry's during the mardi gras season. TRUST me. NEVER. The menu's different (smaller and more expensive) and they won't cater to your individual needs atall... no subbstetions or changes. And they feed you with plastic wear. ANd it's almost impossiblle for them to get your order right. - Leigha , posted 02/15/05
