A restaurant for the upper-class--ONLY
We went to this restaurant to reward ourselves of all the work we had done to try and get back on our feet after Katrina. We were given small pieces of beef (inappropriately called 'tor-nah-does')
cooked wrong twice...and snotty service by the waiter. It cost $80 for the meal...we left upset and felt we had been treated very shabbily. Of course, we looked a bit shabby as well. No clean water in New Orleans...and cleaning our apartment out the past 3 days. But we went hoping for nice atmosphere and good food...and an overall good experience. What we got was one good dish, horrible atmosphere, and an overall horrible experience.

Afterwards, we went to K-Paul's where Paul Prudomme was sitting outside with a jazz band he had hired. The atmosphere was lively and joyous...

I've had the food at K-Paul's and it was delicious. If only we would have found it before our rotton experience at Muriel's... - Shannon , posted 10/27/05
