When you want a twist on Spanish food, Lola's is the place to go. The prices are excellent, the food is great (especially the dessert!) and service is attentive. Reservations are not accepted, so arrive early - there is almost always a wait. Lola's also allows you to BYOB, so bring your favorite bottle with you. - Leslie , posted 04/02/05 |

Lola's on Esplanade, no doubt. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food is consistently great. The seafood and meat paellas or fidueas are both worth the wait. The fish of the day has always proved a winner for me quite a few times, as well. I had some great salmon there not so long ago! Quite a charming place, one of my favorites. Then, right across the street, you have Cafe Degas.. a tasty French eatery with reasonable pricing. - francois , posted 11/25/03 |
